General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Article 1 – Purpose:
LAURENT VTC is a chauffeur-driven transportation company, regulated and registered in the VTC Operators Register under the registration number: EVTC083210042.
Our services are aimed at individuals and professionals for their 24/7 travel in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, in France, and abroad.
Paid passenger transportation is a regulated activity. Only authorized vehicles (VTCs, taxis, etc.) may provide this service.
LAURENT VTC undertakes to provide its customers with drivers who have held a valid driver’s license for more than 3 years and who have not had their license revoked or suspended in the last 5 years for alcohol-related or drug-related offenses. The Company reserves the right to refuse transportation to persons for whom it cannot safely provide the service.
Paid passenger transportation is a regulated activity. Only authorized vehicles (private hire vehicles, taxis, etc.) may provide this service.
The operation of chauffeur-driven vehicles under the conditions set out in Articles L 231-1 to 231-4 of the French Tourism Code, the provision of drivers for transportation services, private chauffeur services, and assistance services.
Article 2 – On-board rules:
LAURENT VTC declares that it complies with all regulations applicable to the profession and offers suitable vehicles that are clean and in good working order under all circumstances.
The driver undertakes to open and close the doors to prevent any accidents when opening them and assists the customer in getting in and out of the vehicle. The driver is required to comply with the Highway Code. Luggage is handled and loaded/unloaded by the driver (at no additional cost).
Customers are prohibited from smoking in the vehicle; the driver may request stops in accordance with traffic regulations.
Customers must wear their seatbelt.
Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited in the vehicle. Any soiling or damage will be charged according to the professional estimate.
If customers wish the driver to wait for them to complete a new trip or make a detour, they must pay a deposit to the driver equal to the waiting time estimated by the customer at the time of their request.
Customers may choose the music on board and the volume, which must remain reasonable.
Article 3 – Reservations and Fares:
For all trips, a paper or electronic reservation form is required, indicating the customer’s name, the date and time of pickup, as well as the departure and destination addresses, and the number of passengers. Bookings should preferably be made online at least 24 hours before departure.
Instant booking is possible by text message or call to +33 6 41 33 73 40, preferably at least 60 minutes before departure, except in exceptional circumstances.
Bookings can be made by email to the following address: “laurentvtc83@gmail.com” (quotes are available upon request for services costing less than €150, and quotes are required for any service costing more than €150). Bookings can also be made using the contact form on our website.
A 50% deposit is required upon booking for transfers costing more than €150. If the service is less than three weeks away, we require the full balance to be paid at the time of booking.
A full balance will be required for all requests less than three weeks away.
You can estimate your journeys by simply requesting an online booking, email, call, or text message. Our travel rates are in Euros with a 10% VAT rate (day and night, 24/7). Sundays and public holidays are subject to a 20% surcharge.

Our rates are calculated from our departure point; they take into account distance, not time spent on the road or traffic. Since a private driver is expected to return to its base at the end of each transfer, our rates reflect this regulation.
The customer agrees to communicate their request (pickup time and location) as soon as possible to obtain the Company’s services. Exceptionally, and subject to availability, it will be possible to notify at the last minute.
In the event of a delay, Laurent VTC offers you a 5-minute waiting time. If this time limit is exceeded, you will be charged €1.00 per minute in addition to the service rate (arrangements are possible for train station and airport journeys).
Article 4 – Payment Methods:
Accepted payment methods: cash, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.), and bank transfers.
Article 5 – Late Payment Penalties:
All transport services are payable in cash upon completion, unless the person transported is a “registered customer/account customer/company.” The service is invoiced upon receipt, within 30 days of its execution.
In the event of non-payment in full or in part by the due date shown on the invoice, the customer will automatically be liable for interest at the rate of 1% per month, with any month started being discounted, in addition to a fixed penalty of €40 for recovery costs in accordance with the law of March 22, 2012.
Late payment penalties are payable without any reminder being necessary (Art. L.441-6).
Article 6 – Cancellation of a reservation:
Cancellation based on quote and online reservation with payment:
– Full refund (100%)*: free cancellation with refund 2 weeks before the service. – Partial refund (50%)*: cancellation with partial refund 1 week before the service.
– No refund: cancellation without refund between 48 hours and the start of the service.
Article 7 – Jurisdiction:
Disputes between LAURENT VTC and its clients will be submitted to the competent courts under the conditions of common law, except for those with clients who have contracted as merchants or professionals, which will be submitted to the courts of the location of Chauffeurs d’exception’s registered office.
Article 8 – Acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale:
The client acknowledges having read the General Terms and Conditions of Sale at the time of booking. Acceptance of a quote by the client and confirmation of their order imply full acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and unconditional acceptance of all the provisions set forth herein.
